Position:          Asst . Manager/Manager - Quality

Location:         Mumbai

Experience:     7 - 8 Years

Industry:        Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the company’s quality vision and strategy.
• Lead a small quality team, providing guidance, training,
• and mentorship. Build a strong quality culture across all departments.
• Develop and enforce inspection standards, testing
• procedures, and quality benchmarks for SPM manufacturing.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure machines meet customer specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Act as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and audits.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming material quality.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure reliability.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Maintain documentation of quality processes, audits, and certifications.
• Prepare quality reports for management and customers.
• Continuous Improvement  Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement
• methodologies suitable for a small-scale setup.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement without compromising quality.
• Train employees on quality tools and best practices.

Required Skills

• Expertise in ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean 

  Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in inspection tools and techniques (CMM, gauges, NDT methods).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (RCA, FMEA).
• Leadership and team management capabilities.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech  - Mechanical
