Job Description:

Position:          Asst. Manager/Manager - Legal

Location:         Fort - Mumbai

Experience:      6 - 8 Years

Industries:       Engineering

Responsibilities.

  • Legal Advisory & Compliance:

  • Provide strategic legal advice on operational, commercial, property, and regulatory issues.
  • Instil and foster a culture of legal compliance and advocate for ethics and integrity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal advisors and property consultants.
  • Draft, review, and advise on MOUs, contracts, property agreements, and tender documents.
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies and compliance frameworks.
  • Property & Commercial Legal Management:
  • Manage property-related matters including acquisition, lease, registration, documentation, and disputes.
  • Advise management on property risks, rights, and compliance requirements.
  • Draft and review property agreements, sale/purchase deeds, lease agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Liaise with property consultants, external advocates, and regulatory authorities.
  • Litigation & Dispute Management:
  • Oversee civil, commercial, and criminal litigation, coordinating with external lawyers.
  • Attend court hearings (Civil Courts, High Courts, Criminal Courts) where required.
  • Maintain litigation trackers, follow up on ongoing cases, and advise management on risk mitigation.
  • Prepare periodical litigation and risk reports for executive management.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare executive reports on regulatory compliance, property matters, and litigation updates.
  • Support audit and legal due diligence processes.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Regulatory, Commercial, Property, and Corporate Law

  • Strong litigation management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and diplomatic skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk assessment skills
  • Alignment with corporate values: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined, and Engaging

Required Qualification: - LLB/LLM - Law

Salary :- Upto 8.00 LPA
