Job Description:

Position:        Design Engineer (Electrical)

Location:        Pune

Experience:    2 - 5 Years

Industries:     Engineering 

Responsibilities:        

• Electrical Design & Drafting
• Design and develop electrical control panels, MCC panels, PLC panels, and automation panels.
• Prepare GA drawings, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Use engineering software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, GStarCAD, or equivalent CAD platforms.
• Component Selection & Engineering
• Select suitable switchgears, protection devices, relays, power supplies, PLCs, VFDs, terminal blocks, and control components.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC, UL, IS, NFPA, and CE standards where applicable.
• Documentation & Quality
• Prepare engineering documentation including quality plans, inspection checklists, FAT documents, SAT documents, operating manuals, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain standard naming conventions, wire numbering systems, and documentation practices as per international standards.
• Coordination & Execution
• Coordinate with customers, production teams, procurement, QA/QC departments, and site teams.
• Attend technical discussions and resolve customer queries related to panel design and documentation.
• Support manufacturing and commissioning teams during panel assembly and testing.
• Ensure projects are completed within committed timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical panels and automation systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN / GStarCAD
• Understanding of electrical standards and safety practices
• Good knowledge of control wiring and panel manufacturing practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Electrical

Salary :- Upto 4.80 LPA
