Job Description:

Position:      Expediting Engineer

Location:      Marol - Mumbai

Experience:   3 – 6 Year

Industries:    Chemical - MNC 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the status of purchase orders and supplier commitments.
• Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely manufacturing, inspection, and shipment of materials and equipment.
• Track procurement schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Review supplier progress reports and manufacturing schedules.
• Expedite critical items to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare expediting reports and provide regular updates to project management.
• Resolve issues related to material shortages, production delays, documentation, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement and delivery status.
• Participate in supplier meetings and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project specifications.

Required Skills:

• Material expediting.
• Logistics and shipment tracking.
• ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc), MS Excel.
• Documentation and record management, contract and purchase order review.
• Project scheduling and monitoring.
• Time management, Coordination and relationship management, Attention to detail, Ability to work under pressure.

Required Qualification: -Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Chemical/Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 7.00 LPA
