Job Description:

Position:           Legal Executive

Location:          Surat

Experience:      2 - 3 Years

Industries:       Chemical

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, vet, revise, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents, including NDAs, sales/marketing/distribution agreements, commission and service agreements, lease and rental contracts, civil work contracts, banking & finance documents, shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, term sheets, and other operational documents.
  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance, renewal, and termination, while maintaining a centralized contract repository and MIS for effective tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and track contractual milestones, obligations, expiries, and renewal timelines to ensure timely action and prevent breaches or lapses.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on contractual risks and exposure, and develop practical risk mitigation strategies for both domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Handle and mitigate risks related to disputes and litigation, including formulating legal strategies and drafting formal responses, notices, and communications.
  • Deliver comprehensive commercial and regulatory legal advisory, partnering with internal stakeholders to provide pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with contractual obligations, applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory authority requirements, strengthening overall governance and risk management frameworks.
  • Lead and support policy development and review, providing legal and compliance insights aligned with governance standards, operational practicality, and company culture.
  • Provide proactive legal guidance on evolving regulatory changes and implement policies, frameworks, and internal guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide solutions to complex legal and compliance issues, particularly in the context of domestic and international transactions.
  • Oversee contract administration processes, including coordination of execution, stakeholder alignment, document control, archiving, and audit readiness.
