Job Description:

Position:        Social Media Executive

Location:        Mumbai

Experience:    2 - 3 Years

Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations & Media Outreach
  • Plan, develop, and execute proactive media strategies to secure positive coverage in print, broadcast, and digital news platforms.
  • Draft compelling press releases, feature stories, event briefs, and op-ed articles tailored to various media formats.
  • Cultivate and maintain a strong network of journalists, editors, and media agencies.
  • Organize media interactions, interviews, and press events; manage media kits and talking points.
  • Monitor press coverage, generate media reports, and analyze PR outcomes.
  • Influencer Marketing
  • Identify and onboard a mix of macro, micro, and community influencers aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Develop end-to-end influencer campaigns, from briefing and creative ideation to execution and analytics.
  • Negotiate deliverables and timelines while ensuring brand and message alignment.
  • Track influencer performance metrics including reach, engagement, conversions, and earned media value.
  • Owned Media & Content Management
  • Manage content strategy for owned platforms: organizational website, blog, newsletter, and social media handles.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to develop thought leadership, campaign content, impact stories, and donor visibility assets.
  • Ensure all owned media reflects brand tone, SEO best practices, and strategic goals.
  • Social Media Marketing & Paid Campaigns
  • Assist in planning and executing paid and organic campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Optimize content for engagement, impressions, lead generation, and brand recall.
  • Monitor and report on key social metrics: CTR, CPL, CPC, engagement rates, follower growth, etc.
  • Support campaign calendar development and thematic alignment with field initiatives and national/international observances.
  • Community Engagement & Digital Storytelling
  • Build community trust by amplifying authentic stories of transformation from field teams, volunteers, alumni, and beneficiaries.
  • Drive interaction and visibility through real-time engagement, comments, replies, and user-generated content.
  • Align messaging with audience segments: rural youth, urban donors, CSR partners, government officials, and media.

Required skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is a plus).
  • Strong media network across traditional and digital outlets.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Canva,
  • Mailchimp, WordPress, Hootsuite/Buffer, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task across campaigns, audiences, and content formats with attention to detail and deadlines.

 

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary :-  Upto 6.00 LPA
