Responsibilities: 

  •  Lead Content Strategy Development:

  • Oversee the creation and development of content strategies for multiple brands or projects.
  • Collaborate with senior management, clients, and creative teams to define content direction and objectives.
  • Ensure content strategies align with business goals, target audience, and brand identity.
  • Creative Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the copywriting team to produce high-quality, engaging, and impactful content.
  • Ensure all content produced is consistent with the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging across various platforms.
  • Set and uphold creative standards across all copywriting projects, ensuring creativity and originality.
  • Project Management and Workflow Oversight:
  • Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  • Establish and implement efficient workflows to ensure smooth collaboration across teams (design, marketing, editorial).
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards by guiding the copy team through project execution.
  • Client Liaison:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, gathering feedback, and managing client expectations.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into compelling content strategies.
  • Present and pitch ideas to clients or stakeholders and adjust the copy strategy based on feedback.
  • Content Planning and Optimization:
  • Develop content calendars, ensuring all content is planned, executed, and optimized for maximum engagement.
  • Regularly assess the performance of content across platforms and provide strategic recommendations for improvements.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure content effectiveness and refine strategies to meet performance goals.      
  • Quality Control and Editorial Oversight:
  • Review and edit copy produced by the team to ensure it meets brand guidelines, tone, and accuracy.
  • Provide constructive feedback to junior copywriters and help them improve their writing skills.
  • Ensure content is error-free, aligned with SEO best practices, and optimized for various digital platforms.
  • Research and Trend Monitoring:
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand market trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity.
  • Stay updated on the latest content marketing trends, copywriting techniques, and digital marketing tools.
  • Incorporate relevant industry insights into copywriting strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with design, SEO, and marketing teams to create integrated and cohesive campaigns.
  • Ensure that the content strategy is aligned with overall marketing initiatives and business goals.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions, content workshops, and strategic meetings to align teams on key objectives.
  • Mentorship and Team Development:
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and supportive environment within the copy team.
  • Train and mentor junior and mid-level copywriters to help them grow professionally.
  • Regularly assess team performance, provide feedback, and ensure opportunities for growth.
  • Brand Guidelines and Content Consistency:
  • Develop and enforce detailed content guidelines for all assigned brands.
  • Ensure that all written content is consistent in style, tone, and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay proactive in self-improvement through workshops, training, and conferences to enhance leadership and copywriting skills.
  • Encourage the team to experiment, innovate, and push creative boundaries to enhance content quality.
