Job Description:

Position:         Sr. Manager - Engineering & Project

Location:        Ahmedabad

Experience:    15 - 20 Years

Industries:     Pharma - Formulation

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and goals.
  • Mentor and develop team members' skills and expertise.
  • Technical Oversight
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
  • Approve technical specifications, designs, and calculations.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
  • Project Management
  • Manage capital projects, upgrades, and renovations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Reliability
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules.
  • Ensure equipment reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Minimize downtime and optimize production capacity.
  • Quality and Compliance
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place and effective.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Manage departmental budgets and optimize resource utilization.
  • Reduce costs and improve efficiency without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Safety and Environmental Management
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage environmental impact and sustainability initiatives.
  • Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including production, quality, and R&D teams.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments.
  • Represent the engineering department in meetings and discussions.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Encourage innovation, creativity, and process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Implement changes to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to support production goals and objectives
  • Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve complex engineering issues.

 

 Required Skills

  • Good technical knowledge of the product.
  • Asset Management.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, installation, and commissioning processes.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 25.00 LPA
