Job Description:
Position: Factory Manager
Location: Umbergaon
Experience: 10 - 12 Years
Industries: Water Treatment
Responsibilities:
-
Coordinating everyday with Contractor, QC Manager, Store In charge for planning for production/ordering of material & consumables, delegating the work, work schedule etc. and reviewing previous plan execution.
- Coordinating with Project team to understand urgency and time schedule for each project and planning the fabrication activities based on availability of drawings, material and client need.
- Coordinating with drawing team to sequence the drawings.
- Overall responsible for managing stock of raw material / consumables, maintenance of machinery in factory.
- Responsible for receiving, issuing, storage, and returning of all drawings, reports, Test certificates and other documents related with factory.
- Responsible for analyzing training and upgradation requirements of factory(testing /production /analytical machinery) as well as personnel (quality / safety / technical) for best working of the factory.
- Responsible for safe and effective storage of material as well as lay outing the factory for smooth flow of work and minimum rework / movement.
- Responsible for managing clear in & out transactions from factory.
- Responsible for monitoring the ongoing work activities in factory and effectively reporting to management and to ensure all the policies and procedure are followed.
- Reviewing machine maintenance, breakdown, and repairing documents from time to time.
- Managing the requirements of infrastructure so that the factory is in best shape.
- Keeping proper communication with head office and other concerned department.
- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime.
- Address employees issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.
- Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
- Conduct performance reviews of employees.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.
- Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Required Qualification: - Any Graduation
Salary :- Upto 8.40 LPA
