Job Description:

Position:        Prepress Manager

Location:       Manesar - Gurgaon

Experience:    10 - 15 Years

Industries:     Printing/Packaging

 Responsibilities:-

  • Manage day-to-day prepress operations and ensure timely completion of all jobs.
  • Ensure all artwork, designs, and engineering drawings meet customer specifications and approved requirements.
  • Maintain the required quality, accuracy, productivity, and delivery timelines of prepress jobs.
  • Review and approve artwork, files, layouts, and prepress outputs before releasing them for production.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Production, NPD, and other departments to resolve technical and job-related queries.
  • Ensure effective communication of customer requirements, technical specifications, and TNI (Training Need Identification) to the concerned team members and HR.
  • Train, guide, and develop prepress staff and junior team members to achieve quality and productivity objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable SOPs, work instructions, IMS requirements, and documentation procedures.
  • Monitor and control wastage of plates, films, consumables, and other prepress materials.
  • Support NPD in arranging and ordering tools, dies, blocks, and other required items, ensuring their timely availability.
  • Keep the department updated with developments in prepress software, technology, and industry practices to maintain the company's competitive position.
  • Identify recurring technical and quality issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation related to prepress activities.
  • Ensure discipline and adherence to departmental rules, including uniform, PPE, footwear, break timings, and attendance.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, 5S, and workplace organization within the prepress department.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements and promptly report safety incidents and breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with maintenance/technical teams for resolving equipment or system breakdowns affecting prepress operations

 Required Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant prepress software.
  • Strong understanding of artwork processing, preflight, colour management, proofing, imposition, plate preparation, and production requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good understanding of printing and packaging processes and technical specifications.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary: - Upto 15.00 LPA
