Job Description:

Position:      Production Supervisor

Location:         Daman

Experience:     3 - 5 Years

Industries:     Packaging

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets and schedules.
• Manage and allocate manpower across production lines and shifts.
• Monitor packaging production processes, machines, output, and material consumption.
• Operate and supervise Extrusion Machines and ensure proper machine parameters are maintained.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and troubleshooting.
• Control rejection, wastage, downtime, and material losses.
• Ensure products are manufactured as per quality specifications and SOPs.
• Conduct regular production-floor inspections and resolve process-related issues.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, machine logs, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and Dispatch departments.
• Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety, GMP/standard operating procedures, and housekeeping practices.
• Train and guide operators and production workers on machines, processes, and safety.
• Monitor production efficiency and identify opportunities for productivity improvement.
• Report production performance, breakdowns, quality issues, and operational challenges to the Production Manager.

 Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Packaging Manufacturing and Production Processes.
• Hands-on experience with Extrusion Machines will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of machine setup, process parameters, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong manpower handling and shift management skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and safety practices.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Required Qualification: -Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 3.50 LPA
