Job Description:
Position: Sr. Manager - Production
Location: Bhopal
Experience: 12 - 16 Years
Industries: Pharma
Responsibilities:
- Lead overall Production operations for pharmaceutical injectable manufacturing
- Manage and ensure smooth execution of cartridge filling operations
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve targets as per quality standards
- Ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP, SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Oversee manufacturing activities in controlled/cleanroom areas
- Ensure adherence to aseptic practices and contamination-control requirements
- Monitor manpower utilization, shift planning and production performance
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse and other cross-functional teams
- Review batch manufacturing records, production documentation and logbooks
- Handle deviations, CAPA, change controls and investigations related to production
- Ensure equipment, machines and production areas are maintained in a qualified state
- Drive productivity, process improvement, yield optimization and reduction of manufacturing losses
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with EHS requirements
- Lead, train and develop the production team
- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations
- Ensure efficient operation, monitoring, and optimization of the cartridge filling line, including filling, stoppering, sealing, and associated processes.
- Oversee and ensure proper line clearance, aseptic set-up, format changeover, and reconciliation activities for cartridge filling operations.
- Monitor critical process parameters such as fill volume, product yield, rejection rates, and in-process controls and take corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality.
