Job Description:

Position:      Production Manager

Location:      Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience:   5 - 6  Years

Industries:     Steel

Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and monitor daily steel production activities to achieve production targets.
• Ensure production as per quality, quantity, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Manage manpower, machines, raw materials, and production schedules.
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
• Reduce production losses, rejection, wastage, and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and production standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns.
• Maintain production records, reports, and shift-wise performance data.
• Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety, and EHS procedures.
• Lead and motivate production supervisors and operators.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Good manpower and production planning skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under production targets and in shifts when required.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 6.00 LPA
