Position:       Purchase Executive

Location:       Vapi

Experience:   3 - 4 Years

Industries:    Chemical

Responsibilities:     

• Manage procurement activities for a chemical manufacturing unit.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for raw materials (chemicals).
• Utilize knowledge of raw materials to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Conduct price negotiations to secure favourable terms and achieve cost savings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing/production team to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.
• Possess a strong understanding of raw materials used in RESINS FOR PRINTING INKS & COATINGS, and OTHER SPECIALITY CHEMICALS.
• Utilize personal conveyance for vendor visits and efficient procurement-related tasks.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing vendors and explore new supplier opportunities.
• Streamline procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments to inform purchasing strategies.
• Candidates should be practical with Negotiation skills, vendor management.
• Experienced Candidates with background in chemical industry preferred.
• Having a Knowledge of Import-Export documentation.
• Responsible for Timely Order material and take Follow ups.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of plant accounting and costing concepts.
• Good understanding of inventory management and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary: -  Upto  5.40 LPA
