Job Description:
 

Position:       Packing Supervisor

Location:      Umbergaon  - Vapi

Experience:   3 - 5 Years 

Industries:    Plastic 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day packing operations of the Blowing Unit.
  • Ensure finished products are packed correctly as per prescribed packing standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
  • Monitor packing quality, quantity, labelling, identification, and proper handling of finished goods.
  • Supervise the Helpers and other packing staff working in the department.
  • Allocate daily work and ensure effective utilization of available manpower.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth movement of finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate Finished Goods Stock and ensure proper recording of inward, outward, and stock movement.
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and report or reconcile stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, identification, segregation, and handling of finished goods.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly packing, finished goods stock, manpower, and other MIS reports as required by Management.
  • Monitor the consumption and availability of packing materials and report shortages or abnormal wastage.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping, discipline, and safety standards within the packing area.
  • Identify packing, stock, or operational issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely corrective action.
  • Perform any other responsibilities related to packing and Finished Goods Management as assigned by Management.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in PET Bottle Manufacturing, Injection Moulding, Stretch Blow
  • Moulding, Plastic Packaging, Caps & Closures, FMCG Packaging, or Rigid Plastics Industries will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection techniques, testing procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Good understanding of quality systems, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to independently manage quality activities and coordinate with productio teams.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/Any Graduction

Salary :- Upto 4.00 LPA
