Responsibilities:

  • Capital Strategy & Fundraising:

Growth capital roadmap: Design and execute a phased funding strategy (internal accruals, debt, QIP/preferential allotment, or main-board migration) aligned to company’s revenue ambition and associated capex/working capital needs.
  • Cost of capital management: optimize the debt-equity mix; negotiate banking/NBFC facilities and working capital limits as scale increases.
  • Main board migration: build the readiness case and timeline for eventual migration from SME Emerge to NSE/BSE main board as size and public float thresholds are met.

  • Capital Markets, Investor Relations & Governance:
  • SEBI LODR compliance: own all listing obligations — related-party transactions, AGM/board calendar, disclosures, and secretarial coordination.
  • Investor relations: lead quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations, and analyst/shareholder communication with a consistent, credible growth narrative.

  • Budgeting & forecasting: drive annual operating plans and rolling forecasts tied to the six business-unit charters and 18-department capability framework.
  • Unit economics & margin architecture: build SKU/BU-level profitability visibility across the 350+ SKU portfolio to guide pricing, mix, and capacity allocation decisions as volume scales.
  • Cost & capex governance: institute capital expenditure appraisal and ROI tracking for capacity expansion (beyond the current 22,000 MTPA base).
  • Working Capital, Treasury & Systems:
  • DSO reduction ownership: drive the collections and credit-control discipline needed to bring DSO from ~160 days toward the 90-day target by September 2026, and hold the line thereafter as revenue scales.
  • Treasury management: manage banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, FX exposure (given exports to 12+ countries), and hedging policy.
  • ERP/systems transformation: complete and stabilize the SAP B1 migration from Tally, embedding financial controls, inventory costing, and MIS automation into the new system.
  • Export finance: structure trade finance, LC, and export incentive (RoDTEP/duty drawback) management to support the international business expansion.
  • Risk, Tax & Statutory Compliance:
  • Direct & indirect tax: oversee tax strategy, GST compliance, and transfer pricing considerations for cross-border JV and export operations.
  • Statutory & regulatory: ensure compliance with Companies Act, Factories Act cost implications, labour code-driven salary structuring, and gratuity/retiral obligations.
  • Risk management: build enterprise risk frameworks covering raw material price volatility, customer concentration, and forex risk.
  • Leadership:
  • Finance team build-out: recruit and develop a finance organization, including controllership, FP&A, treasury, and secretarial functions.
