Job Description:

Position:    Maintenance Engineer

Location:       Vapi

Experience:   5 - 10 Years

Industries:    Chemical

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability.
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules for production and utility equipment.
• Monitor and maintain pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, boilers, chillers, and utility systems.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history cards, and MIS reports.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement and servicing.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, maintenance documentation, and MIS reporting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
