Job Description:
Position: Manager - HSE
Location: Uppagal - Warangal
Experience: 10 - 15 Years
Industries: Oil
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities across plant operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including Factory Act, PESO, Pollution Control Board, and other relevant safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, hazard identification studies, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
- Drive incident investigation, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and reporting of safety metrics.
- Organize safety training programs, toolbox talks, emergency response drills, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
- Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions control, effluent management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response systems, including fire protection, evacuation plans, and crisis management procedures.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and external agencies for inspections, audits, and statutory approvals.
- Promote a strong safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Supervise HSE team members and ensure effective implementation of safety objectives across all departments.
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports, KPIs, and compliance status to senior management.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety practices, occupational health & safety management systems, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Strong understanding of legal compliance, statutory and regulatory requirements, fire prevention, firefighting, emergency response, and first aid procedures.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), people management, time management, delegation, decision-making, prioritization, and cost-conscious resource management skills.
Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Chemical + ADIS/PDIS
