Job Description:

Position:      Production Engineer

Location:      Kalol - Gandhinagar

Experience:   2  - 3 Years

Responsibilities:

• Receive drawings from the Design department and check them properly. Save them in the ERP system and file them in the correct place.
• Give the required drawings to subcontractors with proper signature and stam
• Receive documents like QAP, checklists, and weld log sheets from the Quality Control (QC) department
• Share approved drawings again with subcontractors for production work.
• Prepare issue slips and labor orders for production work. Coordinate with the store department for material cutting.
• Check the work step-by-step during production as per the quality plan.
• Call QC or third-party inspectors for inspections like radiography, hydro test, boroscopy, LPT test, etc.
• Maintain inspection records in registers and reports such as hydro test records, weld logs, RA value reports, etc.
• Solve fabrication, drawing, and production-related problems by coordinating with Design, QC, and other departments.
• If any machine breaks down, prepare a maintenance request and coordinate with the maintenance team for quick repair.
• Manage and dispose of scrap materials and leftover cuts regularly.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
• Monitor and maintain hand tools properly to increase their life and performance.
• Prepare material request notes (MRN) for consumables, follow up with purchase department, and issue materials when needed.
• Closely monitor and close any observations or non-conformance reports raised by QC, FAT, orthird-party inspectors.
• After completing corrections, offer the job to QC and FAT teams for final inspection and approval.
• Make sure the job is completed within the committed delivery date.
• Return rejected or unused materials marked with “R” tag back to the store.
• Complete all MOM (Minutes of Meeting) actions after customer FAT on time.
• Ensure proper packing of finished equipment and prepare packing lists.
• Execute spare parts, service items, and sub-assembly work..
• Handle design development work and related sub-assemblies.
• Prepare reports whenever required by seniors.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management or superiors.
• Work towards achieving the company’s defined KRAs (Key Result Areas).
• Follow ISO 9000 quality procedures related to the production department
