Position:      Manager - QC

Location:      Sarigam near by Vapi

Experience:   15 - 20 Years

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all Quality Control activities related to raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and packaging materials.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, safety, environmental, and customer-specific quality standards.
• Supervise laboratory operations including chemical analysis, testing procedures, calibration, and documentation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs, quality policies, and testing protocols.
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve process efficiency.
• Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs, prepare quality reports, and present findings to management.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, Spectrophotometer, pH meter, viscometer, etc.
• Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Lead, train, and mentor QC team members to ensure operational excellence and adherence to safety practices.
• Maintain proper documentation, batch records, COA preparation, and testing records as per compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality enhancement, waste reduction, and process optimization.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Quality Control processes and chemical testing methods.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments like GC, HPLC, and Spectrophotometer.
• Good understanding of ISO, GMP, and quality compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and quality documentation.

Required Qualification: - M.S.C - Chemistry
