Responsibilities:

• Project Planning
• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects from grassroots, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and finalize plot plans in compliance with government regulations and safety requirements.
• Coordinate contour surveys and soil investigations at project sites. Prepare and review project plans and drawings for submission to government  authorities.
• Collaborate with department heads to communicate project budgets and timelines effectively to stakeholders.
• Design & Engineering
• Understand engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Directly interact with consultants to finalize project drawings and resolve desig  interface problems.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and ensure completeness of engineering documents.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and documents to meet project specifications.
• Vendor Management
• Prepare technical enquiry specifications for equipment procurement. Coordinate vendor shortlisting, enquiries, and negotiations to obtain the best business deals.
• Review and approve vendor documents, including mechanical data sheets, test certificates, and inspection reports.
• Project Cost Management
• Implement measures to control project costs through innovative engineering techniques.
• Monitor cost-saving targets and calculate return on investment (ROI) to maintain financial objectives.
• People Management
• Provide development advice and training for project management staff to enhance their skills.
• Manage an operational team of project leaders and managers, ensuring effective project execution.
• Conduct regular status reviews with the project team to assess budget, timelines, and performance.

Required Skills

• A deep understanding of chemical engineering principles, processes, and equipment is crucial for overseeing projects in the chemical industry.
• Familiarity with process design, equipment sizing, material selection, and process optimization to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Proficiency in developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate project teams, foster collaboration, and drive project success.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project planning, documentation, and execution.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and meet project deadlines.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
