Job Description:

Position:      Group Head - SCM

Location:     Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience:  18 - 25 Years

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including planning, procurement, manufacturing support, warehousing, distribution, and EXIM.
• Drive S&OP and Integrated Business Planning to balance demand, supply, cost, and service levels.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing, category management, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee logistics and distribution network, including warehouses, depots, and 3PL/4PL partners.
• Improve OTIF performance and reduce overall logistics cost-to-serve.
• Define and execute inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, working capital, and inventory turns.
• Ensure effective forecasting, planning, and reduction of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Manage EXIM operations ensuring compliance with customs, DGFT, and international trade regulations.
• Drive ERP implementation and digital transformation across supply chain functions.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and advanced tools for forecasting and decision-making.
• Develop supply chain risk management strategies and ensure business continuity.
• Promote sustainability through green logistics, ethical sourcing, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Establish strong governance, SOPs, compliance controls, and performance monitoring systems.
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team with strong cross-functional collaboration.
