Job Description:

Position:           Asst. Manager - ETP

Location:          Vapi

Experience:      15 - 20 Years

Industries:       Automobile

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) for smooth and continuous functioning.
  • Monitor key parameters such as pH, COD, BOD, TSS, flow rate, and sludge levels.
  • Ensure treated effluent meets statutory environmental discharge standards.
  • Handle operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of ETP equipment (pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, etc.).
  • Improve plant efficiency and reduce chemical, water, and energy consumption.
  • Ensure proper sludge handling, disposal, and record maintenance.
  • Maintain daily ETP log sheets, reports, and performance data.
  • Support and coordinate GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board) / SPCB audits and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental laws, consent conditions, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit environmental monitoring reports, returns, and documentation on time.
  • Close non-compliance points raised during environmental audits.
  • Implement green environment initiatives for water recycling and resource conservation.
  • Promote reuse of treated wastewater within plant operations.
  • Support pollution control, waste reduction, and sustainability activities.
  • Contribute to green belt development and environmental improvement projects.
  • Assist in maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management System compliance (if applicable).
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, utility, and EHS teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company environmental policies and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ETP/STP processes (biological, chemical, and physical treatment)
  • Familiarity with environmental laws and compliance standards
  • Experience with ZLD systems preferred
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Good documentation and reporting skills

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 15.00 LPA
