Job Description:
Position: Jr. Engineer - Design
Location: Ahmedabad
Experience: 1 - 2 Years
Industries: Engineering
Responsibilities:
-
Prepare detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing using AutoCAD
- Develop and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Generate production-ready drawings from 3D models with accurate dimensions
- Create fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings as per requirements
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects
- Ensure proper documentation, drawing revisions, and version control
- Coordinate with production and shop floor teams for drawing clarifications
- Support senior engineers in machine design and component development
- Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, and manufacturability standards
- Assist in standardization of components and design processes
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting (must-have)
- Understanding of:
- Fabrication drawings
- Machining drawings
- Basic GD& T(preferred)
Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
Salary: - Upto 4.80 LPA
