Job Description:

Position:         Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - Quality

Location:        Silvassa

Experience:     8 - 15 Years

Industry:        Packaging 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of operators, in the manufacturing unit operating in rotational shifts.

  • Resource planning to ensure sustained production.

  • Responsibility of the Shift operations in terms of production, quality targets and to ensure the 

    smooth running of the production processes.
  • Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues

  • Maintain housekeeping 5’S standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace

  • Design and roll out quality control processes, procedures, and policies to meet or exceed 

    customer requirements. 
  • Oversee production to ensure products and services conform to specifications, conduct 

    inspections, and perform audits of quality processes. 
  • Monitor quality control data, identify trends, analyze issues, and make recommendations for 

    improvement. 
  • Manage and coach a quality control team, providing guidance and support. 

  • Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management, documenting findings and actions 

    for improvement. 
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes, enhance product quality, and optimize efficiency. 

  • Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to align quality processes with 

    business goals and understand expectations. 
  • Maintain accurate quality control documentation and ensure adherence to industry and 

    regulatory standards. 
  • Work closely with maintenance team and actively participate in preventive maintenance

  • Delivering the results by optimizing resources thereby contribution to organizational drive of 

    cost optimization.
  • Adhere to SOPs to elevate process control and minimize variability from operator to operator

  • Ensure 

    sustained production by resource planning and smooth running of production process
  • Aid production at the shop floor, in the manufacturing unit operating in rotational shifts
  • Responsible for the Shift operations in terms of production, quality targets
  • Work End-to-end with other Shift engineers to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools
  • Drive results by optimizing resources thereby contribution to organizational drive of cost optimization
  • Establish operational excellence by initiating energy and cost saving projects in the plant towards sustainability objectives aiming for continual improvements
  • EHS: Align activities related to corporate and Crown Objectives on Environmental Health and Safety
  • Hands on experience quality process and procedure in Quality Control and Quality
    Assurance in Paper / Plastic raw materials testing process, preferably in extrusion/ injection molding /
    polymer compounding field.
  • Sound processing knowledge specially testing parameters of raw materials, handling customer
    complain , good quality of product of PET, PP, LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, Elastomers.

  • Skilled using Microsoft Office; (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, statistical analysis, and related software. 
  • Understand and apply relevant industry and regulatory quality standards.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Paper/Plastic/Polymer

Salary :- Upto 9.00 LPA
