Position:    Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - Purchase

Location:      Bhuj

Experience:    8 -10 Years

Responsibilities:

• Procurement & Sourcing
• Handle end-to-end procurement of engineering items (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, MRO items).
• Source and develop new vendors for cost optimization and quality improvement.
• Float RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.
• Vendor Management
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
• Maintain vendor database and performance records.
• Conduct vendor audits and performance reviews.
• Purchase Order Management
• Prepare and release purchase orders (POs).
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers for dispatch schedules.
• Cost Control & Negotiation
• Achieve cost savings through negotiation and strategic sourcing.
• Analyze market trends and price fluctuations.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives.
• Coordination & Inventory Control
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and stores teams.
• Ensure availability of critical materials to avoid production downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure procurement complies with company policies and audit requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation (POs, invoices, contracts).
• Support internal and external audits.

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Technical understanding of engineering components
• Vendor development and relationship management
• Analytical and cost management skills
• ERP/SAP knowledge preferred
• MS Excel proficiency

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 10.00 LPA
