Job Description:

Position:        Safety officer

Location:       Umbergaon

Experience:    4 - 7 Years

Industries:     FMCG

Responsibilities:

• Risk Management & Compliance: 
• Conduct regular inspections and site audits to identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
• Incident Investigation:
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and occupational illnesses to determine root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Policy Development:
• Develop, update, and enforce company-wide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
• Training & Awareness: 
• Organize and conduct safety training programs (e.g., fire drills, machine safety) for employees to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and safety audits. Prepare reports for management regarding safety performance.
• Equipment Safety:
• Inspect machinery, lifting tools, and fire safety equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in EHS software or MS Office.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety standards, regulations, and hazard identification methods.

Required Qualification:- Any Graducation + Any Safety Related

Salary :- Upto 4.50 LPA
