Job Description:

Position:        Purchase Engineer

Location:        Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience:     4 - 5 ears

Industries:      Steel

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process purchase requisitions (PRs) from departments.
• Collect quotations and assist in the comparison and negotiation process.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as per approved requisitions.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate with stores, QC, and finance for material receipt and invoice processing.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery details.
• Assist in physical verification of stocks or assets as needed.
• Manage local purchases through cash payments where approved and submit expense reports with bills.
• Support the Purchase Manager in vendor evaluation, audits, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.

Required Qualification: - B.E/ B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical
