Job Description:
Position: Sr. Engineer - Moulding
Location: Vapi
Experience: 2 - 3 Years
Industries: Automobile
Responsibilities:
-
Operate and supervise injection moulding machines for ABS plastic components
- Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize moulding processes to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor production parameters and implement process improvements
- Ensure adherence to automotive industry quality standards and specifications
- Coordinate with tooling, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations
- Handle mould trials, sampling, and validation activities
- Identify and resolve defects such as warpage, shrinkage, and surface issues
- Maintain production records and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Required Skills
- Understanding of automotive quality standards (IATF, ISO)
- Knowledge of process optimization and cycle time reduction
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong knowledge of ABS plastic processing
- Familiarity with moulding machines, auxiliaries, and tooling
Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B. Tech - Mechanical
