 Responsibilities:

• Process Engineer will prepare procedures, practices, and codes and standards in various aspects of Operation,  Process Design , Technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledgeable of and performs standard discipline engineering activities on projects with minimal technical oversight
• Demonstrated experience in process simulation and automation preferred
• Apply basic chemical engineering principals of heat transfer, vapor-liquid equilibria, mass transfer and thermodynamics in process design
• Conversant in relief calculation methodologies and industry codes and standardsapplicable to pressure relief design. Develop relief load narratives, relief load calculations and relief valve datasheets.
• Perform design calculations using standard simulation programs / Softwares (Aspen , DWSIM, pipenet, Flaresim etc) or from Excel Sheet , Fomula using from Engineering standard.
• Data Sheet preparation including vessels, columns, heat exchangers and package process specifications for equipment and control valves.
• Develop process engineering deliverables such as BFDs, PFDs, H&MBs, Equipment Datasheets,
• Utility. Summaries and other process deliverables required for the facility design.
• Knowledgeable in alarm and trip setpoint rationale and process safety time calculations.
• Develop and check Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), from preliminary drawings to issue for construction
• Develop and check Line Designation Tables (line lists with process and mechanical design conditions captured)123 Perform and check hydraulic calculations – for pumps, compressors, control valves, and line sizing
• Participate in safety reviews HAZID, HAZOP.
• Batch process chemistry Study, Batch time cycle optimization, process optimization, Key identification of Pain Areas & subsequently resolve the technical issues.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to coordinate work with other Operation , mechanical , Electrical , Instrumentation & safety departments
• Broad working knowledge of the principles and practices of executing projects.
• Basic knowledge about design process 

 Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Chemical
