Job Description:

Position:      Manager – Network & Infrastructure

Location:       Bhopal

Experience:    7 - 10 years

Industries:     Pharma

Responsibilities:        

  • Core Infrastructure
  • Administer and harden Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and identity-related services (incl. Azure AD / Entra, if applicable).
  • Manage on-prem and cloud email platforms (Exchange / Microsoft 365), including security, hygiene, and retention.
  • Network & Security
  • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN environments built on HP/Aruba switches and access points.
  • Operate Palo Alto NGFWs (policies, NAT, App-ID, Global Protect, threat prevention,
  • high- availability)                                                                                                                         
  • Monitor traffic, capacity, and security events; produce actionable reporting and RCA.
  • Server / Backup / DR
  • Oversee Windows & Linux virtualised servers (VMware/Hyper-V or similar), storage arrays, and on-prem / cloud backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, etc.).
  • Maintain tested disaster- recovery runbooks and perform scheduled restores.
  • End-User Computing
  • Lead the hardware lifecycle for laptops, desktops, peripherals, and imaging/patch management tools (Intune/SCCM/ Jamf).
  • Ensure tight SLA-driven support for ~XX internal users.
  • Team & Vendor Leadership
  • Mentor a small infra/service-desk team; define KPIs (MTTR, FCR, CSAT) and coach  toward improvement.
  • Own vendor relationships, contract renewals, and budget tracking for circuits, hardware, and SaaS.
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Scope and deliver network refreshes, Wi-Fi expansions, firewall upgrades, and cloud- migration initiatives.
  • Champion automation (PowerShell, Ansible, API scripts) and document SOPs, diagrams.
