 Position:          Quality Manager

Location:          Dadra & Nagar Haveli

Responsibilities:       

• Ensure product and process quality is maintained as per the code and standard applicable. Ensure product Quality should be as per Customer’s requirement.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes, define CTQ (critical to Quality) points & develop inspection plan to exceed the customer expectations.
• Hands on Statistical Quality control tools & 7 QC tools.
• Take initiatives for implementation of Total Quality Management Approach (TQM) in the organization.
• Reduce the cost of Quality by controlling the cost associated with internal failure & External failures.
• Define the inspection process parameters, SOP, work instructions for all the process of Manufacturing including but not limited to raw material, inward quality, finished goods, work in progress, pre delivery inspections, shipment of goods, sample testing, retention of samples.
• Analysis of internal rejections and finding the door cause and appropriate actions to reduce the same and attesting the same timely actions.
• Surprise/ Random check and audit of the process and when required to ensure the process are followed and operators educated about the process and quality expectations.
• Keep the track of controlled documents, amendment and re-issue of the same with concerned departments and respective heads.
• Ensure the process defined under ISO are followed at every stage of process.
• Update the Management team timely about the quality issues in the whole process and escalate the same as and when required, need base.
• Develop the culture of root cause analysis and develop the action plan to ensure the non- recurrence of same by sing appropriate tools available.
• Responsible and accountable for timely communication to customer communications and not to entertain the communication gap with the department or with customers or with Management or with any stake holder of the process.
• Accountable for plant quality performance and develop the culture of quality consciousness among the team member and educate the team about cost of poor quality.
• Accountable to address the customer complaints within the time frame defined in the work instructions / SOP / procedures etc., by using QC tools for root cause analysis and POKAYOKE (Full Proof Actions) against NC (In house rejection) or complaint/rejections.
• Accountable and responsible for in process rejections and customer rejections because of deviation in quality.
• Accountable for on time delivery of products / goods as per the schedule of delivery agreed with sales team to customers as per CoA.
• Define the goal and objectives of department at the beginning of the year and review the same periodically
• Set the targets for team and timely review their performance against the defined targets.
• Responsible to drive the team as leader and guide the team to meet the organization goals to achieve the desired results by developing the culture of learning and development in each department.
• Responsible to develop the culture of striving for sustainable growth and consistence in quality.
• Ensure to maintain 5`s in the department, train educate review the performance of zone leaders periodically and ensure the closing of open points identified during safety walk, near miss reports etc.,
• Keep the level of motivation on higher side for self and employees working at plant for harmonious work practices and developing the spirit of team.
• Ensure the corporate compliance are followed educated among the team members and motivate the employees for escalation in case of any unusual / unfair / abnormal / suspicious act is observed with employee or customer or supplier is observed to protect the company from catastrophic situations.
• Manpower Planning / resource planning of the department ensure the effectiveness of individuals working the department and identify the potential future leaders and also non- performers. Report the findings to Management timely for further investment on the employee from grooming and developing them to take up challenges and grow in the organization.
• Handle Audit (internal / external) by authorities / customers / internal auditors / external auditors and report the same to Management with findings with action to take appropriate actions to eliminate the probable future complications and corrective action if needed.
• Represent as Management Representative for Audits as per ISO Standards and audit Management. Take the initiatives to coordinate the internal & external audits of QMS as per ISO 9001-2015 & ISO -13485
• Deal with employees firmly in case of in competencies, negligence’s in work or assigned responsibilities, disrespect with process of safety in consultation with Plant HR.
• Strictly adhere with NDA Norms (Non-disclosure agreements) with customers and suppliers and company i.e., MCPP India as well.

Required Skills:

• Inadept knowledge of PVC compounding Testing
• Knowledge of MS office, Power Point etc.
• Good command in English Language & Local Language.
• Hands on SQC Tools
• Problem solving technique of operations.

• Leadership with assertive Attitudes

Required Qualification:- B.Sc/M.Sc/B.E/B.Tech -Chemical/Polymer/CIPET 

Salary :- Upto 15.00 LPA
