Job Description:
Position: Asst. Manager - PPIC
Location: Bhopal
Experience: 8 - 10 Years
Industries: Pharma
Responsibilities:
- Production Planning
- Develop daily, weekly & monthly production plans for insulin formulation, filling, sterilization, and packing areas.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, and Engineering to ensure smooth execution of plans.
- Monitor batch scheduling, capacity utilization, and line-wise planning.
- Material Planning
- Plan RM, PM, APIs, filters, and primary/secondary packing materials based on consumption and forecast.
- Ensure availability of vials, cartridges, syringes, stoppers, caps, labels, and other insulin-specific PM.
- Coordinate with Procurement & Stores for timely material issuance.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels of RM, PM, WIP & FG to avoid shortages and overstocking.
- Monitor batch-wise WIP, yield tracking, expiry, and shelf-life-controlled materials.
- Ensure accurate SAP/MES entries and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with cross-functional teams — Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, SCM & Engineering.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for sample collection, testing, and batch release timelines.
- Ensure timely communication of shortages, delays, and plan deviations.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly PPIC reports (production status, MIS, OTIF, yield, variance).
- Ensure cGMP, GDP, WHO, and regulatory compliance in planning and documentation.
- Support audits (internal/external/regulatory) with PPIC-related documents.
- Process Optimization
- Analyze production data and suggest improvements for cycle time reduction and capacity enhancement.
- Identify bottlenecks in insulin filling/lyophilization/packing processes and support optimization initiatives.
- Implement lean, 5S, and cost-saving initiatives in planning and material management.
- Finished Goods Planning
- Plan FG dispatches as per market demand and customer forecast.
- Coordinate with SCM/Logistics for timely product availability and dispatch planning.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Insulin / Sterile / Biotech Production Processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP (PP/MM), ERP/MES, and planning tools.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of GMP, GDP & regulatory requirements.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight timelines.
Required Qualification: - B.Pharm/M.Pharm/B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemistry
Salary :- Upto 15.00 LPA
