Job Description:

Position:          Sourcing Specialist (Plastic)

Location:         Daman

Experience:     5 - 7 Years

Industries:      FMCG - MNC

Responsibilities:

• Scouts and selects the suppliers of materials and services, develops the supplier base localization. 
• Process and supports the Group functions in scouting new suppliers and products in his/her market of competence.
• Number of suppliers scouted by spend category [number] Success rate of supplier scouting [%]. 
• Negotiates contractual terms and manages the relationships with the suppliers, in order to meet current and future business expectations.
• Ensures that the plant needs are fully met in terms of price, service level and quality (lowest TCO).
• PPV (Purchase Price Variances TCO. 
• Assists the Sourcing Manager in the execution of the plant's yearly saving plan and brings to completion the Cost Improvement Initiatives assigned to him/her.
• CII (Cost Improvement Initiatives - Yearly Saving achievement). 
• Maintains short- and long-term plans for her/his categories of purchasing Maintains info-record updated. 
• Maintains a supplier platform with selection, evaluation and re-evaluation parameters, ensuring to maintain up to date the supplier score card. 
• Responsible to generate reports and information to help the Sourcing Manager & Procurement Manager tracking the metrics of the department.

• Experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain Experience within an FMCG environment Injection Molding 

• fabrication and packaging Operations knowledge, Transportation, INCONTERMS and Customs Knowledge.
• Has skills in Negotiation/influencing Advanced functions in MS Excel Proficient in other.
• Microsoft office programs: Power Point, Word, Outlook Able to Interpret engineering drawings and datasheets (specifications).

Required Skills:

• Proficient use of modern IT ERP/MRP/WMS systems knowledge (SAP as preferable requirement).
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word).
• Personal Attributes/Skills and abilities.
• Thinking.
• Organizing.

Required Qualification: - B.Tech/B.E./Diploma - Any
