DCS Engineer

Job Description:

Position:          DCS Engineer

Location:         Sarigam

Experience:     3 - 5 Years

Industries:       Chemical

 Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute shift-wise production activities as per Plant Manager’s instructions.

• Operate and monitor DCS systems, perform PID updates, and maintain process control.
• Conduct regular plant rounds to monitor parameters, supervise operators, and ensure good housekeeping.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and timely completion of production batches.
• Record stage-wise input/output data and update in SAP accurately.
• Coordinate with Engineering, EHS, QC, Industrialization, Electrical & Utility teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain and comply with systems such as SAP, HAZOP, PPS, OHRA, JSA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BBS, and 5S.
• Participate in process improvement, CAPA implementation, and safety audits.
• Manage manpower allocation, shift reports, and batch sheet documentation.
• Train and guide operators on process safety and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of DCS operation, PID tuning, PPS & PCS systems.

• Good understanding of hazardous chemical processes and plant safety.
• Proficiency in SAP and production documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemical/Chemistry
