Position: Sr. Manager - Quality
Location: Daman

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire gamut of quality including product, process, systems, Supplier Quality, Incoming, in process & final quality, & Customer Quality.
- As a management coordinator for ISO-9001-2015, 14001, 45001 IMS, ensure implementation and sustenance throughout the organization.
- Responsible for various Product Certification like CE/ATEX/BIS, Russian Certification, marine certification of Pumps.
- Monitoring of customer complaints, their resolution with concern department, implementation & sustain of corrective /preventive actions.
- Taking initiatives on product quality improvement & reduction in customer complaints.
- Process & product documentation for project orders.
- Transition from quality control to quality assurance.
- Support on-time delivery with timely completion of QA document packages, making of quality plan(QAP) for navy orders & review.
- QAP as per customer requirements for project/ETO orders and give input to sales, Application Engineering/Sales.
- Key member of the Cross Functional Team called “DPM group” responsible for minimizing performance bottlenecks by identifying loopholes if any and undertaking result-oriented measures for resolution.
- Upgradation of Suppliers by continuous feedback, training, audit ,guidance, monitoring & review so they can meet quality standard and specification of organization
- Evaluate new suppliers that will leads to consistent and reliable vendor base of purchasing.
- Assist for new customer approval, documentation, resolution of customer queries.
- Conduct training to various functions for quality improvement.
- COPQ capturing process to be established.
- Responsible for making MIS report related to COPQ ,Quality PPM, Internal Scrap, Warranty Claim on monthly basis and timely Updating in COS board.
- Conducting Training Programs for staff, shop floor personnel and supplier on Quality awareness, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
Required Skills:
- Must have leadership ability, capacity for strategic thinking, ability to foster innovation, time management skills, and unquestionable integrity.
- Six Sigma and / or Lean experience, and root cause corrective action training.
- Formal training in the Toyota Production System/Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Should be well versed in all types of manufacturing processes like casting, fabrication, machining, rolling, forging, heat treatment etc.
- Knowledge in different Material Grades like ASME, ASTM, IS, ISO, DIN & their properties.
- Should have professional communication skills, required for communicating with external agencies & interdepartmental teams.
Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
Salary: Upto 35.00 LPA
