Position:         Safety Officer

Location:        Vapi

Experience:    3 - 5 Years

Industries:     Chemical

Responsibilities:

• Legal compliance related to safety health and environment of the site.
• Knowledge on GPCB consent including monthly return ,annual return, environment audit statement submission, hazardous waste return submission & its compliance, Handling of ETP operation and guide to ETP operator.
• Knowledge on disposal of hazardous waste and it compliance.
• Provide training on safety health and environment including firefighting, work permit, on site emergency plant.
• Knowledge on accident investigation and CAPA.
• Good exposure on factory rule, environment protection rule, hazardous waste management rule.
• Able to handle contract workmen and provide induction on safety health environment.
• Work permits monitoring and compliance.
• Liasoning with GPCB officer, factory inspector and compliance of his visit remarks.
• Monitoring Effluent treatment plant operation and its compliance.
• Knowledge on 5S.
• Carry out environment monitoring with the external agency and review the report of monitoring.
• Conduct Safety committee meeting and mock drill.
• Effluent treatment plant knowledge will be added advantage.
• Maintain record of EHS in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 system.

Required Skills:

• Good communication skill & record keeping.
• Knowledge on IMS system.
• Good interpersonal skill.
• Knowledge on HIRA/Aspect impact study and documentation of ISO 9001 ,14001 and 45001.
• Practical/Good knowledge on various problem- solving Tools and its usage.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation + ADIS/PDIS

Salary :- Upto 8.00 LPA
