Job Description:

Position:           Logistic Incharge

Location:          Dadra Nagar Haveli-Silvassa

Experience:      3 - 5 years

Industries:        Engineering

Responsibilities:      

• Plan and oversee daily dispatch operations based on order priorities, destinations, delivery timelines.
• Ensure that all logistical processes comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of logistics activities such as shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Ensure timely collection and verification of Proof of Delivery (POD) for all dispatches and maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Identify shipment-related issues such as delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), including third-party transporters and courier agencies, to resolve delivery issues promptly
• Optimize logistics processes to improve service levels and reduce costs.
• Lead and supervise warehouse and logistics staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Use logistics IT systems or software to track shipments, plan routes, and manage inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, sales, procurement) to ensure alignment and smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in ERP, inventory, or logistics software platforms
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with customs clearance and international shipping

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary: - Upto 4.50 LPA
