Job Description:

Position:          Asst. Manager - Store(Engineering)

Location:         Vapi

Experience:     8 - 10 Years

Industries:       Pharma 

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of the engineering store, including receiving, issuing, and storage of spare parts, tools, and consumables.

• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate procurement requisitions to avoid stockouts.

• Ensure accurate inventory records using ERP/Inventory Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Coordinate with purchase, maintenance, and production departments to fulfill material requirements.

• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verifications; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and categorization of all materials.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations.

• Monitor shelf life and quality of stored items; ensure safe storage as per material specifications.

• Implement 5S, FIFO, and other lean practices in the store area.

• Maintain documentation for ISO, internal audits, and statutory compliance.
