Position:        Operation Manager (EPC)

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of solar EPC projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the project management team.
• Ensure timely procurement of equipment and materials, collaborating with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and quality.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet project deadlines and cost targets.
• Team Leadership and Management
• Supervise and coordinate with the project management, engineering, procurement, and on-site installation teams.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the operations team, ensuring high performance and productivity.
• Manage subcontractors and third-party service providers, ensuring they adhere to project requirements and timelines.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance
• Ensure all solar installations meet industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify that safety and quality standards are being followed.
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to handle potential project challenges.
• Project Coordination and Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, engineering, procurement) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, financial status, and any issues.
• Financial and Budget Management
• Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
• Analyze project financials, track KPIs, and ensure project margins are achieved as per the company's financial goals.
• Approve purchase orders, invoices, and project-related expenditures in line with the budget.
• Operations and Process Improvement
• Optimize operations processes to enhance efficiency and reduce project costs and timelines.
• Implement best practices for solar project execution and continually evaluate processes for improvements.
• Identify and manage opportunities for innovation and new technologies in solar installations.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance
• Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead the development and enforcement of safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
• Promote a culture of safety within the team, providing training and guidance on safe work practices.
