About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Operations Leader to drive strategic and operational excellence across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing units. This role will oversee diverse portfolios, including OSD, Ointments, Injectables (General, Biosimilar, Antibiotics), Soft Gels, and Nutraceuticals.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience in plant operations, compliance, supply chain, and continuous improvement, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Align operational strategies with business goals and drive long-term growth.
  • Implement cost optimization, process efficiency, and quality compliance measures.
  • Leverage technology, digital transformation, and sustainability (e.g., zero carbon emission, alternative power sources).
  1. Multi-Plant Management & Compliance
  • Oversee operations across multiple plants with direct reporting from all Plant Heads.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (USFDA, MHRA, WHO, GMP, etc.) through audits and quality management systems.
  • Develop robust supply chain and inventory management strategies.
  1. Performance & Talent Development
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Build a high-performing team through mentorship, training, and succession planning.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Risk Management
  • Work closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, regulatory agencies).
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage operational risks, quality issues, and safety compliance.
  1. Innovation & Special Initiatives
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Drive new product development, automation, and process optimization projects.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership & decision-making abilities
  • Expertise in pharma manufacturing, quality systems, and compliance
  • Hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence
  • Ability to drive innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

 

Required Qualification: - M.Pharm/M.Sc

Salary :- Upto 1.00 Cr
